LIFE Emergency Relief Fund

Dear Members and Friends,

Lebanon is in a critical state and in response to the dire situation our country is facing we are launching the LIFE Emergency Relief Fund.

The aim of this first fundraising campaign is to raise money within 30 days for carefully selected projects from a list of well vetted NGOs in Lebanon which focus on the provision of food, medication and other basic needs for some of the most vulnerable Lebanese communities across the nation. 100% of the funds raised will be spent on these projects.

A rigorous due diligence process has been conducted to select the first projects, led by a sub-committee of the LIFE Board and our partner 3QA, a social enterprise which offers an accreditation programme to non-profit organisations. We will be closely monitoring the progress and keep you updated.

Our 7 projects are:

  1. Forming a Social Pharmacy with “Arc En Ciel”
  2. Setting-up a permaculture farm in West Beqaa with “Beit El Baraka”
  3. Funding medical tests and treatments for children with cancer with “Chance”
  4. Creating a blood collection unit in the North with “Donner Sang Compter”
  5. Building an in-house professional kitchen with “IRAP”
  6. Expanding a food storage warehouse with “Lebanese Food Bank”
  7. Funding vital respiratory therapies for children with disabilities with “Sesobel”

We would be extremely grateful if you would donate to our Emergency Relief Fund.

In line with our purpose of being a global network of Lebanese professionals working together towards a brighter future, we have a role to play as a diaspora organisation, to encourage all Lebanese around the world to support our country.

Thank you,

Nadine Massoud
