With $8m raised and counting, the Beirut Emergency Fund is focusing on the following critical areas of need: Hospitals, Medical SupportShelter & Reconstruction with the most recent allocation going towards Mental Health:

  • Hospitals: St George, Geitawi, Hotel Dieu
  • Medical Support: Lebanese Red Cross, Arcenciel, Lebanon Needs
  • Shelter and Reconstruction: Beit El Baraka, Nusaned, Offre Joie
  • Mental Health: APEG, Embrace, Happy Childhood Foundation, Himaya

LIFE and SEAL recently travelled to Beirut to monitor the work that is being done on the ground. To witness the progress of the NGOs the Beirut Emergency Fund selected to support was both uplifting and impressive considering the challenges the Lebanese people are facing on a daily basis.

We are indebted to our generous donors for their support in meeting the needs of the victims of such a tragedy.
