We are delighted to announce that May Nasrallah has been voted unanimously by the LIFE Board of Directors to continue her role as LIFE Chair for the next 2 years.

LIFE's Solidarity Dinner 2019 took place on Saturday 16th November at The Guildhall in London, with +400 guests, raising US$1.75M for education programmes in Lebanon.

LIFE's Mission Statement

The LIFE network is growing further this year as we expand beyond Finance to include active professionals in the sectors of Consultancy, Law and Technology.

Launching events are planned on 9th March in London, 18th March in Dubai and 29th April in New York. We hope that you will be able to join us in the city of your choice.




We would like to welcome Karen Khadi as the new Chair of the Sydney Committee.

A big thank you to Peter Semaan who launched the Sydney chapter in 2017 and has been chairing the committee since.

She is an Executive Director at Macquarie Group having spent the last 17+ years working in a number of roles across financial management and investor relations.

Our End of Year Drinks in Beirut took place on 26th December at Arthaus Hotel in Gemmayze, allowing members from all chapters to meet and close the year in an enjoyable ambiance. We would like to thank Nadim Ghantous once again for generously hosting this event. #LIFEpics






LIFE and ESA Business School signed a 3 year matching agreement to fund ESA Business School students who are in financial need and who excel academically. The eligible programmes are; Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA); International Masters in Management (MIM), Executive Masters in Financial Management (EMFM), Masters in Entrepreneurship (MENT) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA).




Starting March 2020, LIFE will be offering scholarships to students interested in joining the Holberton Technology Academy in Lebanon. This is a part of our Startecheus initiave founded by Alexander Harkous.

Meet our 2019/2020 Scholars






In collaboration with Alfanar venture philanthropy we were able to grant SE Factory $50k to help with long term management support and training to scale their impact, optimise their organisation and increase their financial sustainability. We have also facilitated many introductions to our global network to encourage the recruitment of SE Factory graduates and the outsourcing of tech jobs to Lebanon.


We have also extended a grant of $25k to Codi, a free school of programming aiming to get marginalised youth to participate in the needs of the local ICT and software sector.





In an effort to enhance networking and mentoring opportunities between high-impact entrepreneurs and the Lebanese business diaspora, a speed mentoring session was held in partnership with Endeavor Lebanon on 23rd December in Beirut during which 40 members from the LIFE network were paired with 15 promising Lebanese firms.

LIFE participants were able to review the companies’ plans and challenges, offer business introductions and share their global experience particularly with regards to means of attracting capital and scaling internationally#LIFEpics
