About our panel

Mona Akiki
Mona Akiki is a Senior Human Resources HR executive with over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. Prior to her current consulting business, Mona has played a major role in various companies’ overall performance by leading global HR teams who have played critical roles in the overall development, execution and success of inclusive Talent management and Succession Planning processes.
Mona has been based in the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States and has earned an MBA from McGill University as well as a B.A and B. Education from York University in Canada.

Laurent Benarroch
Laurent is a Managing Director and runs the EMEA ABS Mortgages and GLSSG business at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
He initially joined the bank in March 2006 as part of the Emerging Markets sector. Within Emerging Markets, he grew to run the Israel franchise and took over the CEE business in 2012. Laurent was promoted to Managing Director in 2015 and transitioned to run the ABS and Structured Credit sales effort in October 2016. In October 2017, he then expanded his management further, by running the GLSSG business alongside the ABS Mortgages business.
Laurent graduated from the University of Ottawa in Canada with an Honors Bachelors in Commerce and currently resides in London, UK
