Khaled Beydoun is the Founder and Managing Partner of Riposte Capital LLC a New York based investment management company focused on equities. Riposte leverages operating intelligence through a private industry franchise in order to construct a concentrated long/short global equity portfolio. Prior to founding Riposte, Khaled was CEO of Credit Agricole’s Equity franchise in North America from 2006 – 2012 where he oversaw all aspects of the business, including proprietary trading and risk management. He began his career as an Equity analyst in 1996 at HSBC James Capel in London and moved to New York in 2001.
Marc Malek is the Founder and Portfolio Manager at Conquest Capital Group. Established in 2001, Conquest is an alternative asset management firm with a disciplined quantitative and systematic approach to tactical trading in the macro space. Marc began his role as Portfolio Manager in 1999 after departing UBS. While at UBS, Marc held a number of senior positions. By 1999 he was the Global Head of FX and Derivatives Proprietary trading in Europe and the Americas. Prior to his tenure at UBS he worked at a hedge fund trading currency options and developing proprietary trading models. Marc began his career in 1992 at Salomon Brothers in New York as a Financial Analyst in the Financial Strategy Group. Marc graduated with Honors from the California Institute of Technology (“Caltech”) with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Science, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Reed College. Marc's research has been published extensively in academic journals and books including Risk Books and The Journal of Alternative Investments. Marc is also the Chairman of LIFE Lebanon.
