About Anwar Aridi
Anwar Aridi is an Innovation Specialist at the ECA unit of the Trade and Competitiveness Global Practice at the WB in Washington DC. Anwar specializes in science, technology, and innovation policy issues, private sector development, technology entrepreneurship, and knowledge diaspora.
Anwar holds a Ph.D. from the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Administration at the George Washington University in Science and Technology Policy. His Dissertation title is: Knowledge Transfer from High-Skilled Diaspora to the Home Country: The Case of Lebanon and the United States.
Anwar is the coeditor of Innovation Policy: A Practical Introduction (Springer Books 2014 with Vonortas, N. & Rouge, P.). He is a member of LebNet, a network of Lebanese-American hi-tech professional, and Lebanese International Finance Executives (LIFE).
